FAQ

How do I sign in?

StockNote supports Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. No separate password is needed.

If Apple and Google provide the same verified email address, they map to the same account. Using Apple's "Hide My Email" creates a separate account.

What's the difference between the free plan and the subscription?

The free plan limits how many stocks you can track at once and includes every feature. The StockNote annual subscription unlocks unlimited stocks. The price is shown on the App Store purchase screen.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription, or request a refund?

Go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your iPhone. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current period.

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

After switching phones or reinstalling, tap "Restore Purchases" on the account screen in the app.

Will I lose my entries when my subscription ends?

No. Your data is kept. Older entries beyond the free limit are temporarily locked and are all restored when you subscribe again.

I'm not getting take-profit, stop-loss, or review alerts.

Make sure notifications are allowed in Settings > Notifications > StockNote.

Alerts are sent after closing prices are updated, not in real time during market hours.

Where does the price data come from?

Taiwan stock prices come from TWSE and TPEx open data; US stock prices come from Alpaca. StockNote uses closing prices only, for reference. Nothing in the app is investment advice.

How do I delete my account?

On the Today tab, tap your avatar at the top left to open the account screen, then tap "Delete Account". Your account and all entries are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Please cancel it in your Apple Account.
